Life update

I'm sorry I've been absent a lot recently but I plan to get back on track soon just may take me a while but for now I thought I would let you in on what is happening in my life at the moment.  I have been really stressed out recently juggling housework, baby and being in a lot of pain from Endometriosis so I have just taken a step back from all my social media for a bit to focus on what really matters, my family.  When we moved houses in October baby was only 9 weeks old so I didn’t get much actually done when it came to unpacking and recently I was out on antidepressants again which made me finally be able to cope with my feelings and I noticed the mess of my house so I have been cleaning and organising like crazy.   At the start of the year my endometriosis flared up which has led to a lot of pain and days were I can barely move off the couch so I have just been taking it a day at a time and taking help when needed.  I only have three rooms in my house left to...

My labour and birth story

If you would rather watch my story:  https://youtu.be/WT9dGfzLQGg As a lot of you know, back on August 1st 2021, I gave birth to my daughter, who I named Victoriarose.  I already filmed and uploaded my birth story when she was still very young, but today I am going to tell you my intense birth story on how I went from planning a medication-free hospital birth to an emergency c-section. My birth story starts at 41 weeks pregnant.  I had been having intense back pain since 10 am on July 31st but not thinking anything of it. I went on with my day, but at around 3 pm, they started to move to my front, and my uterus started to get really tight, but I was able to cope through the pain as long as I wasn't sitting down so again I didn't think much of it, but from 7 pm they had only gotten more intense, hot showers took the edge off, but I couldn’t move through them anymore, and I was struggling to talk through them, I was tracking them for a bit at 7:40, but I had to stop because...

How I did with my 2021 goals | this years goals and schedule

2021 was one hell of a year; between everything going on in the world and the uncertainty of what would happen next with covid-19 and having a baby, I didn’t do very well with my yearly goals, and I did expect that to happen, but it’s now 2022; a whole new year, and I know I can do a lot better this year.  How I did with my 2021 goals  Back at the beginning of 2021, I made my yearly goals and uploaded them here on my blog; if you missed that post Or have forgotten what my annual goals were, here they are: Take better care of myself Finish writing and editing my books from 2020 Publish three books Have 2k youtube subs Have 500 Twitter followers Have 2.5k Instagram followers Have 7k TikTok followers I didn’t do nearly as well as I thought I would. I did fantastic at taking care of myself up until June 2021, then everything I had done was erased, and I stopped caring for myself.  I didn’t finish writing or editing my books, but I did get most of the way through editing my bo...

How I keep on top of my work with a baby

It's hard juggling life as a mum as well as working. I am forever thankful for the job I have, but I still find it tough even with my job to work with a baby, so I thought I would talk more about how I manage to cope. Every night before bed, I make a to-do list of everything I need to achieve in the day. Right at the top of the list is all the household chores, appointments and things like that, stuff that needs to be done to keep my household up and running. Once I have everything that has to be done, I add to the list with things that I want to get done for work,  in order of most important to get done to least important.  My list will look something like this: Appointment at 12 with GP Cook dinner A load of diapers washed  Hang up diapers Wash baby clothing Hang up baby clothing Dishes Film What I eat in a day youtube video Write 1 blog post Continue editing project hope By doing this, I can ensure that the things that have to be done get done. For me, work is my...

How to keep up on housework

Keeping on top of housework can be hard, whether that be because you work full time or because you have children running around the house—whatever the reason, I can understand getting behind.  I used to go weeks without cleaning, and the house would pile up with mess and become too much to handle, and I would have to spend a whole day cleaning up and then I would be tired. People think that everything has to have a place and if it doesn't then, you'll never be able to keep the place tidy, which is false. I live in a tiny two-bedroom house, and the only rooms that everything has a place for are my daughters' room, the kitchen and the bathroom. The living room and my bedroom are storage to put it lightly, but I still manage to keep it tidy, and this is how. First is something everyone dreads; get on top of the mess. If you start with a clean house, then your life will be a lot easier, trust me. While it feels like a lot to get on top of it now, you will feel better starting ...

It's coming to the time of year where I am starting to plan out what to get everyone for Christmas; This year, there are so many people to buy for than usual, which is strange. Five things i've learned from being a mum

Being a teen mum isn't easy, but it is very rewarding. I have learned so much by being a mum that I thought I would share what I've learned so far with you guys. Disclamier I dont condomm teen pregnancy 1.) How much you can love someone: I didn't know I could love someone as much as I love my daughter. I am always tired and run off my feet, but even when things are rough, I look at my daughter, and my heart swells with love. 2.) You can never be prepared: No matter how much stuff you buy for baby, How much you pack for trips or to run into town to go shopping, things never go to plan, and you will randomly experience a time where no matter how much you tried to prepare it was all for nothing. 3.) You can't make everyone happy: People will always find something to disapprove on wheater it is you choosing to cloth diaper or what you dressed your child in for the day; I learned to not listen to other people and only care about what my partner and myself find work for o...
