Top 10 blogging tips

When you start blogging, it can be hard to know where to start, but here are some tips to get you started.

I want to note that there is no real way to blog, so no matter what direction you take, just keep working on it until its successful.

  1. Get ideas from your readers: At the end of the day, your readers are the people who will be reading it, so they know what they want to see; however, this won't be the best if you don't have a lot of readers and no one comments.
  2. Sign up for blogging mail lists: This can give you more ideas on attracting more readers and giving you tips from people who have mastered their blogging readership.
  3. Build your own email list: You don't need to sell anything but this can help readers get to know you better and also means your readers will know when new posts are published, so you don't have to worry about having people find your blog through a search engine as much.
  4. Be consistent: If you upload posts all over the place, it can be challenging for readers to know when to expect to come back to your blog, which will decrease views.
  5. Have a list of post ideas: With a list of post ideas under your belt, if you are stuck for ideas, you can always have a blog post, so you don't have to miss out on posting.
  6. Use your other social media to your advantage: If you use your other social media to promote your blog and new posts, you will reach more readers and get more exposure.
  7. Be yourself: By being yourself, you are more appealing to the readers; other blogs will try and appeal to what they think the readers want.
  8. Don't expect to make money straight away: The Internet is a busy place. You can't expect to make money straight away when others have been around longer: don't get into blogging for the money get into blogging for sharing knowledge. You'll be better off in the long run.
  9. Use catchy headlines: By using catchy headlines, you can get peoples attention.
  10. Giving meaningful information: if you provide information that readers can use, they will keep coming back wanting more.

Moving to a new country | with kids

Moving to a new country can be exciting but nerve wracking add in children and it can feel overwhelming to say the least, today I want to share all the advice and tips I have to move overseas after having just made an overseas move for myself with my two young daughters.   Mid January I moved from New Zealand back to Australia, some of you may know that I was actually born in Australia and lived over here until 2011 so for me this was about returning home but for my kids it was moving countries for the first time and while my youngest had no idea what was going on as she was only 3 months old my eldest had a range of emotions and it was honestly quite tough on her at times.   My first bit of advice is to just talk about the move, explain why you’re moving and what to expect in an age-appropriate way so that they can better understand what is going on, talk about all the positives with the move    that would interest them from new experiences to making new friend...

Tips for decluttering

Decluttering can help create a more organized and stress-free living space or even just make it easier when it comes time to move.   With my recent move I spent a few months slowly decluttering and downsizing my belongings to make the final step of selling what wasn’t coming and packing what was easier and I thought I would share some of the tips that helped me as an ADHD solo mum of two declutter my house after holding on and hoarding a lot of belongings from throughout the years.  1. Start small Choose a small area to start, like a drawer or a shelf, to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Work for a set amount of time, such as 15 or 30 minutes, to maintain focus and avoid burnout.  2. Sort items Label four boxes as "Keep," "Donate," "Sell," and "Trash." Sort all the items into these categories as you go, this also keeps things clean when you do decide to stop for the day. Remember to handle each item. 3. Evaluate necessity Ask yourself questions like:  ...

How to tell if you are a rebound or if the guy really likes you

Oh, the agony, you are talking to a guy, and he is giving mixed signals about if he really likes you or if he is pretending to use you as a rebound; well, I have compiled a list for both to help you work out what you really are. We have all been there at least once in our lives; you start talking to a guy, and you can not make sense about how he is really felling; there are a few telltale signs about what you are. Now rebounds are not just sleeping around; they can be emotional too. A rebound is only a relationship or relations that happen while they are still getting over there partner. 90% of rebound relationships will fall apart within three months, but how long it takes to heal from a relationship depends on how long the relationship was, the person and if the relationship was over way before it actually ended. some signs you are just a rebound are: they are totally in love with you even though you haven't known each other long your relationship moves really fast...
