Info/Facts About Me

It has been just over a year since I did my all about me post on this blog, so I thought I would do an updated version. I am seventeen years old (June 30th 2003)   I run three blogs  Endometriosis Phoebe M.C. BeautyQueen I dropped out of school when I was sixteen, the day after my birthday, to be exact, because of my Endometriosis. I now work full time as a writer and YouTuber. I did start my own business in 2019, but as of right now, that is currently on hold while I work through some personal issues.  I started making YouTube videos in 2013 and quit my first channel in 2016 when I started the one I run now,  Beautyqueen . I started writing for more than a hobby in October 2015 when I created my Wattpad account  Phoesrules . I also run an Author Page. When I was fourteen, I landed up pregnant with twins and was so over the moon, I didn't care about the hate I got because I knew due to my Endometriosis, my chances of kids were slim; they did pass away on April 24th 2018, while I wa

The Zodiac Killer

Disclaimer: I in no way endorse killing nor do I romanticize killers; this post is just for information, and I do not know everything about the case; I feel for the victims and their families. I have always had a fascination with serial killers, which isn't healthy, I will admit, but as someone who loves to do research, when I find a serial killer who was never found, I love to dig as deep as I can and one of the serial killers I have always come back to and can never get enough of is the Zodiac killer. For those who are not familiar with who the zodiac killer is, he is an American serial killer  who operated in Northern California from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. The Zodiac killer murdered victims in Benicia, Vallejo, Napa County, and San Francisco between December 1968 and October 1969. his true identity still remains unknown as he was never caught. In this blog post, I will be going through the information that we do know and, in the end, tell you who I think did it

How to tell if you are a rebound or if the guy really likes you

Oh, the agony, you are talking to a guy, and he is giving mixed signals about if he really likes you or if he is pretending to use you as a rebound; well, I have compiled a list for both to help you work out what you really are. We have all been there at least once in our lives; you start talking to a guy, and you can not make sense about how he is really felling; there are a few telltale signs about what you are. Now rebounds are not just sleeping around; they can be emotional too. A rebound is only a relationship or relations that happen while they are still getting over there partner. 90% of rebound relationships will fall apart within three months, but how long it takes to heal from a relationship depends on how long the relationship was, the person and if the relationship was over way before it actually ended. some signs you are just a rebound are: they are totally in love with you even though you haven't known each other long your relationship moves really fast

Beauty must haves | skin care edition

Looking after your skin is a must, and there are so many factors into looking after your skin that it can be a daunting process, but with these items, it will make life a hell of a lot easier, and this is without breaking the bank. {all costs are in New Zealand dollars} The most import ones are water and sleep, I know you hear this a lot, but it's true, skin gets dehydrated very quickly, so water is a must, and without sleep, the under-eye bags are going to get really bad and very hard to cover up. A good makeup remover: I personally use the cleansing micellar water with rosehip by Essano. It costs around $13 for 400ml, and I use it every day and still have leftovers after a full year of use; you don't need a lot because it goes a long way. night cream: I have very combined sensitive skin, so I use two different night creams, both by Essano, I use rosehip moisture restore night cream for $23, and I also use the collagen repair night cream for $25 serum booster: I use

How i plan my blog posts

I am a planner by heart; if something isn't planned, I freak out, and that is never good. My youtube videos are planned out months in advance, and my blog posts are planned out for a full year in advance; yep, you heard that right in December of every year, I plan out a full year worth of blog content. To plan out the blog posts, I use OneNote. On my OneNote, I have a folder titled blogs, and in that folder, I have three sections, one for each blog. My endometriosis and writing blog just has a list of posts, while the section for this post actually has pages labelled with each month and two posts on that page. I also have a page full of future ideas to write into next years blog post ideas. To find the blog post ideas, I typically come up with them throughout the year, ideas for me randomly spring into my head, and they don't just come on demand, the other way I get my ideas is by google search and looking at other peoples blog posts to get ideas, Pinterest, and posts full

My Self Care Routine

When you do as much as me in a day, you need a good self-care routine to keep your body feeling good; I suffered depression for a very long time, and as anyone with depression knows, your body and self-care goes down the drain, my teeth took the biggest blunt and were yellow, and orange from not brushing them in ages and once I had almost pulled myself out of depression, and I was smiling again people started commenting on them which wasn't helping so I try and keep myself now as cared for as possible and this is how Now the products I use are  (these don't include my shampoo and conditioner and like hair products, and they don't include my body washes) St Ives blemish control apricot face scrub charcoal face mask charcoal face soap Sensodyne white gloss toothpaste white gloss diamond series teeth whiting gel cup o' coffee face and body mask from lush Garnier Fructis repairing papaya hair food exfoliating charcoal body scrub My routine Sunday: I

My five year life plan

Eventually, we all have a plan for our lives, even if its a spare of the moment decision, but I hate change and love having my life planned out so that I know what I am doing with my life, so this is my five-year life plan at the moment. I know plans change, and life can throw random things at you, but this is what I am aiming for. 2020 I want to have at least three books published by the end of 2020; I would like to have my businesses off the ground so that I am earning some more money from it; I would also like to have a few more brand deals under my belt for either youtube or Instagram. I would also like to have my endometriosis surgery. 2021 By the end of 2021, I would like to be monetized on youtube again as well as have a total of five books published and making me money. I want to have a few thousand dollars in savings so that I can start saving up for a home. 2022 I don't really have any goals for 2022 other than publishing more books and saving more money.

Apps i use to keep up with my work

Keeping on top of writing, blogging, youtube, my business, and replying to Instagram and youtube comments, working on Wattpad stuff and now keeping on top of the occasional modelling gig is a massive hassle, but with technology being as big as it is now, it is manageable. So here are the apps I use to keep on top of everything I do. Easy blog- for any blogger who blogs on blogger or Blogspot, it is a massive help, with easy blogger I can write my blog posts and edit them, view my blog to see how it will look, it is so easy to use all I need is an internet connection, so it makes it easier for road trips. The calendar is now a must-have for all my appoints and remembering what day I need to upload on what app and all of that jazz. YT studio- I have all my comments as pending, so I have to accept them myself due to a lot of bullying. With the YT studio app, I can accept and delete the comments as well as a reply; I can also fix any issues with my videos and see how they are going, s

How i plan my weeks out

I am a massive organizer, I have to know what I am doing that week, and if anything changes, I freak out, so I am going to share how I organize my weeks out so that I stay on top of everything I do and have to do. So I have just a cheaper planner from Kmart; it is black, and it only cost me fifteen dollars, and it includes a lot of things, and I just love it.  If you want one of your own, click here . Now I just use the to-do list section, but they also have a weekly and monthly calendar. I may eventually start using the weekly part, but I just use the to-do list for now. So I start off by writing the date. I will be using a part of my actual list to show you guys what I do so you also get a sneak peek into my life. So I would write that weeks date 12-1 is the start day and 18-1 is the last day. I then list everything I have to do so it looks something like this. 12-1 to 18-1 publish double trouble on Wattpad finish writing double trouble write 8,638 words add e

How to make a dream catcher

As some of you may know, I make dream catchers gain some money as a side hustle. Many people think it is easy to make a dream catcher, but it really isn't, so I will talk about how to actually make a dream catcher. If you learn better by watching,  click this  because I made a video on it back in July 2019 and if you want to see some of my work, check out my Instagram and Facebook page When I make dream catchers, there are five steps, but if you were to just make it for home use, you would use four steps. My steps are: Step one: grab materials Step two: wrap hoop Step three: start threading the web Step four: decorate Step five: take pictures and post them online Now let me show you how to do each step. (pictures are of my work in different stages photos can be found on my dream catcher Instagram) Step one: grab materials When your materials will be things like glue, hoop, decorations, material to wrap the hoop with and the web. Step two: wrap hoop When wrapping

How to budget

A lot of people want to start a budget but don't know-how. I was blessed into a family of budgeters, and because of that, I learned early on how to, so I will share tips on an easy way to budget.  Now, Senator Elizabeth Warren popularised a rule of sorts  in her book  “All Your Worth: The Ultimate Lifetime Money Plan.”  the rule is called the  50/30/20 budget  rule. Basically, the rule  is to divide after-tax income, spending 50% on needs and 30% on wants while allocating  20 % to savings. I don't follow this rule personally, but you can if you want to First, you need to work out how you want to set it out. Do you want to write it down on paper or on a spreadsheet? I find spreadsheets to be the easiest, but it all depends on you and your lifestyle. Next, work out how much you make a week/fortnight/month after tax. Really the method you use depends on how you get paid. I get monthly, so I base my budget on how much I make in a month, but if you are paid weekly or fortnightl
