Best pregnancy products

My pregnancy journey has come to an end, and I feel so happy to have my daughter here with me, but I got to thinking about my pregnancy and decided this post would be beneficial for those of you still expecting your babies.  These are the pregnancy products that I found to be the best things in the world. Bio-oil- I couldn't stand the smell of the palmers stretch mark cream, and I found it too hard to apply anyway.  Pregnancy pillow- it's so hard to get comfortable while pregnant, which is why I loved having my full body pregnancy pillow because I could get comfortable fast. Wristband for nausea- I was always sick my pregnancy, and the only thing that helped was the seasick wrist bands that relieve nausea using acupressure Water bottle- You drink a lot of fluids when pregnant so having a cute water bottle is a must. Belly band- I never used one. To be honest with how my daughter was sitting, it wouldn't have helped, but I know this is a must-have for many women, which...

Whats in my hospital bags

With just over a month until baby girl is due, I had to finally finish packing the hospital bags for if she comes early or even if she doesn't so that I don't have to worry about anything. I had been slowly packing them for a while but hadn't actually finished them. I did film a video about what was in the hospital bags if you want to watch it: Babies Hospital bag:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_KJKHBCOtQ My partner and I's bag:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5lv6kiuizc I have no idea how much of this I will use. However, I am having to birth at the hospital instead of the birthing unit, so we will still be close to home, meaning if I have to spend more time in the hospital, I can get my partner to come home and grab me some more clothing or whatever I need especially since he will be having to come home to feed our cat anyway. I did pack for three days just to be on the safe side of things. I also don't know what the hospital will provide because we live in ...

Differences between my two pregnancy's

Pregnancy is meant to be an amazing time.  For those of you who didn't know, my first pregnancy when I was 14 landed up as a miscarriage, but my second pregnancy, the baby I am carrying now, has made it all the way through to viability, so I thought I would share the two pregnancy experiences. My first pregnancy . Back in 2018, I fell pregnant with twins when I was only fourteen years old. I found out quite early on I was pregnant. I didn't have much morning sickness, and the major symptom I had was my back pain; it was super bad, and I used to find it hard to walk at times. At that time, I was sleeping on a single mattress on my bedroom floor because my room was so small, and I didn't have room for a bed with my couch in the way, which could have been contributing to that.  Other than that, I didn't get many symptoms to say; the twin's father left me after I started bleeding, but it wasn't very much, so I didn't expect a miscarriage until I went for my fir...

Pregnancy tag | seventeen and pregnant

 1. How and when did you find out you were pregnant? In October, I kind of had a feeling I was pregnant and tested eight days after when I ovulated. (I have endometriosis and feel when I ovulate, so it's very easy for me to pinpoint different times in my cycle because of pain levels, and I can also feel when my egg is released.) the test came up negative, which I should have expected because one, it was way too early to find out, and two, I took the test in the afternoon on a non-sensitice test; cue eye roll. The day before I found out I went on a hike with my partner and his friends and I was really mad and bitchy to everyone, everything was getting on my nerves and I was also sore from all the walking and climbing. I usually have horrible mood swings leading up to my period, but this was ten times worse than normal everything was setting me off, and the slightest thing would make me cry. I just thought my period was going to be really bad this month and thought nothing of it beca...

First trimester must haves

I am now very much in the second trimester, and this is what I really found I needed in my first trimester; I had the worst morning sickness and started showing in the first trimester as well. Bucket for throwing up Seaband to help with nausea Dry ginger ale was the only way I could eat anything; after every mouthful of food, I needed to take a sip Water crackers for bad days of vomiting Prenatal pill  Maternity clothing what were your first-trimester must-haves?

What I learned from my first pregnancy

It took me so long to write this because my laptop lost internet and I didn’t know how to write this in a way it would make sense and because when writing about a pregnancy you lost, it can be hard not to start to cry, especially when you have to think back to all the memories. 1.) Life is too short Everyone says this, but it took me to get pregnant at 14 to realise it was true. I was ready to be a mum, not that everyone agreed with my decision, but I was. It wasn’t that made me realise it; it was losing them that made me realise, I knew pregnancy lose was a risk for me; my mum had suffered one before, and my grandma on my dads' side had a stillborn plus with my age and my endometriosis I knew it was a risk but realising that my baby’s had died 1 day off being 8 weeks pregnant made me realise that’s baby's life was gone before it even really began.  2.) that not all teenage pregnancy are the same You here all these stories of teen mums losing almost all their friends and ...

pregnancy tag (miscarriage edition)

I decided to do the pregnancy tag today because I was meant to be giving birth today. I will answer the questions for a normal pregnancy but with my miscarriage answers if that makes sense. I was seven weeks and six days pregnant when we found out I had miscarried.   1. How and when did you find out you were pregnant? I had a gut feeling that I was pregnant, and on 27 March 2018 , I got my first positive pregnancy test. Two days later, I went to family planning to get a test done there and got a negative pregnancy test. Then on April 1st,2nd and 3rd, I took a test each morning, and three tests were positive. I  went to the doctors on 9th April and got a blood test done, which confirmed I was 4 weeks 3 days along. 2. How did you feel? Excited, upset and confused. I was excited when I got all the big fat postivite and upset and confused with the negative. The only reason I was excited was because I had always wanted to be a mum, and I always thought I couldn't because...
